L. Arthur wrote “She had watched the movie & so we decided to buy the toy for her. She is very satisfactory with toys, so I expect it will last some time, yet if it had been for my grandsons, I don’t think it would have lasted very long at all. It is entirely plastic (what else is new) & the Colors are very close to the original, yet she was pleased that it transformed (a little) which it doesn’t do much, yet for a 4 year old, it was great. Only gave it 4 stars because it doesn’t appear to be able to last a long time, yet we’ll see.”
Desmond L wrote “This is a tremendous transformer. My son is three, almost four. He abuses his toys. This toy takes a lickin & keeps on tickin!!! I love this toy because it’s simple enough for a 3 year old yet still complex enough for a three year old.”
R. Tucker wrote “This bumblebee Rescue Bot is just a bunch of pleasant for my 3 year old son. He loves watching the Rescue Bots yet loves to play with them even more. I like how these toys are durable & are very creative by the way they can alter from their cars or trucks to robots. My son constantly changes them back & forth because he is so amazed by the transformation. As far as the durability is concerned, it has not broken & they only have light scratches. If your child likes Transformers or is into robots, buy these toys & you won’t regret it. They do have all the other Rescue bots to buy too so your child can own the whole set. Highly recommended.”
Robomom wrote “My 4 year old is a demolition expert, yet this transformer still snaps into place easily after lots of crashes. So I donate it 5 stars for durability & fun. It’s not complicated to transform so younger kids can enjoy it without frustration.”
Ryzeldorf wrote “I purchased the Rescue Bots Bumblebee for my son who is a fan of the show & the Bumblebee character in general. Initially I wasn’t a huge fan since I grew up with the original generation 1 die-cast toys. They were intricate & took some practice to transform. This generation gets to take the lazy option with a simple pull & transformation is automatic. Intricate details are kept to a minimum here. Then I realized this toy hits its target demographic perfectly. He is only 5. It’s not approximately me.
This toy can go anywhere & can take a beating. It’s effortless & automatic to transform to robot & clicks right back together into a car. My son LOVES it & requires no assist from me to transform & play.!”
Christina A wrote “This toy is super effortless to transform, & is appropriate for a toddler to 3yrs, though even my 5 year old enjoys playing with them so much I had decided to buy him one of his own. Both of my boys enjoyed them! Would recommend this to other Transforner fans!”
love2shoponline wrote “Bumblebee is a hit! Easy to transform him & pleasant to play with. He & the other Transformer Rescue Bots have been on many missions & have assist up very well. Love that it transforms in just a couple steps so the child isn’t frustrated & gets the excitement of being able to the tranforming themselves. Fun too & still in use.”
DonShulaDoingTheHula wrote “Making this type of toy for a preschooler is such a satisfactory idea that I don’t know why it took so long to happen. I still won’t let my kids watch the cartoons (too brain-dead for my tastes) yet this toy is great. It’s simple enough to transform that a younger child will enjoy it without becoming frustrated. It moreover seems to be effective in teaching kids how the pieces interact with each other in a way that doesn’t overwhelm. This toy quietly has some educational value – it won’t teach your child to read, yet it might encourage them to look at things from an engineering perspective. Quality wise, this is mostly solid. The paint is rubbing off after a few months’ use, yet that’ll happen with most toys. It’s moreover a bit on the pricey side in my opinion… $8-$10 would be perfect. Still, a satisfactory toy.”
Aldizar wrote “My son received this toy on his second birthday as a gift from a friend. My first though was, here is another cheap toy he will play with once. I was totaly wrong. He has a thousand toys, literally. Grandmother with a shopping problem. He always goes back for this one. It has been his favorite toy for 2 years now. It is simple to use for a young child unlike some other transformer toys he has had that where so complicated I couldn’t convert it & felt like it would break the first time you tried. This thing is indestrucable! I have even stepped on it a couple of times.”
Cherise wrote “My boys (4 & 5) love Transformers, yet until now all I saw was the building sets of Transformers that include like a million pieces! Bumblebee is his absolute favorite & this Rescue Bot Transformer is perfect for little hands! This Rescue Bot is all one piece, nothing to loose or need instructions for. You just push & pull & he goes from Rescue Bot to car! He is moreover quite durable as of course my boys toss it around & smash him into things. The design is perfect for the recommended ages of 3-6. It is tremendous for older kids to even display! I highly recommended this for any young Transformers fan, it will save your sanity in the long run & last!”
