Top Rated Baby Walkers Reviews:
Josie wrote “My baby loves this toy & my older son learned how to walk on one of those & that why I received this for my baby girl. We had too other kind of walker in my house yet it was so light that it would tip over the baby when they were trying to stand up, this one is heavier & moreover does not go so swift so the baby can follow it easily. Overall we love it & I recommend this to everyone.”
Heather wrote “We bought this for my son to play with & moreover to work on sitting to standing. It does have a lot of tremendous interactive options on the front, & he loves pulling the phone off, flipping the gate open & shut, & playing with the shapes. It is a pleasant toy for him. But a few drawbacks of the toy – 1. the “low” volume is really not very low. 2. There is not really enough of an angle between the legs of the toy so it’s complex for him to pull up on it. 3. When on “music” mode, each item you touch makes a sound, yet if you touch something else, the first sound doesn’t stop, & so on. It’s complex to learn cause & effect if there are 5 things making noise at the same time & he doesn’t know which is which.”
Io wrote “A lot of the negative reviews on here are based on the fact that there is no way to slow the walker down for the babies first starting out… It was those reviews that made me almost not purchase this yet I’m very glad I did. My son was starting to show an interest in walking right before he turned six months old so I wanted to obtain him a walker yet I wanted the option to slow it down or lock the wheels. First one we bought had images of fruit on the three light-up shapes at the top yet we returned it due to audio issues. I noticed the second one I picked up at the same store had a slightly different box yet didn’t think much of it until I received home. The new one had the numbers 1, 2 & 3 where the fruit used to be AND a knob on the wheels to SLOW the walker down. Perfect!! It doesn’t totally lock the wheels yet it unquestionably changes the amount of force needed to make the thing move which is just what we were looking for. So, if you want the speed control look for the walker that has numbers on top. I’ve seen them at Walmart, Target & BRU. Amazon still shows the older version here yet you could probably call to find out if they have the newer version available. Hope this helps!!”
Anna wrote “I received this Sit-to-Stand walker for my son when he was 7 months old. He is now almost 17 months old & STILL plays with this walker even though he has been walking since 12 months. When he first received this toy, he sat in front of it & played with the toys. He really loves the “peek-a-boo” door, & opens & closes it over & over again! This music & lights moreover grabbed his attention. He moreover loves the phone! The phone detaches & he still plays with it alone. It is moreover a rattle. This toy would be tremendous for tummy time because the toy comes off the front of the walker. The only negative I have with the toy detaching from the front of the walker is that it falls off sometimes when my son is walking with the walker. No huge deal though. He now runs with walker & I’ve tried to put it away in the closet & he keeps dragging it out. I have another walker as well yet I don’t like it as much because the front wheels are more narrow than the rear & when my son would make sharp turns with the walker, it would tumble over along with my son. This walker is very sturdy & doesn’t flip when my son walks/runs/turns with it. I would reccomend this product to anyone looking for a tremendous sit-to-stand at a tremendous price!”
Andrea wrote “I had to take this away from my son because it would tip over backwards. It was otherwise really nice & he loved the activities & songs on it, yet I would strongly urge you not to buy it. After the second time my son tried to pull himself up with it to walk around & ended up smacking his head on the ground because it tipped right over on top of him, I decided it had been a waste of money.”
Jason wrote “Let’s obtain this out of the way first: My daughter isn’t even using the walker portion of the toy, & I think it’s the best toy ever.
The positives of this toy are too numerous to mention. There are a ton of colors, shapes, textures, & sounds that are all perfectly set to entice a baby. This is absolutely my daughter’s go-to toy. Whenever she is bored or distracted, putting her back on this toy always gets her attention.
Normal volume is set at a perfect level (there is an extra loud level if necessary). The songs/noises may be a bit repetitive – I’ve learned most of them by heart – yet she loves them. Heck, she even sounds like a mini-DJ at times when she picks the phone up over-and-over-and-over: “Thanks for call, thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks for calling, thanks for calling.” Sometimes it’s pretty funny. She moreover enjoys the sounds associated with the sun (a laugh), the cow (a moo), & the various keys on the keyboard.
Interaction with the toy is off the charts. She pushes, pulls, climbs, hits, moves, flicks – everything. The square, circle, & triangle attachments are ingeniously made because not only can they be removed & reinserted into their designated slots, yet inserting/removing rewards with a sound & the little tether to each piece has enough tension to catch a baby’s attention. If she is across the room & sees me put the three pieces into their slots, more often than not she crawls over & takes them out. Wash, rinse, repeat.
The level changes for the toy are moreover great. This is perfect for the youngster who is sitting, crawling, & figuring out how to stand (i.e. “Sit-to-Stand”). I love the fact that a child can practice standing by pushing themselves up one extra level off the floor while still remaining relatively low to the ground. When she’s ready the bar will go up, the angle will change, & she’ll be off to the races. It’s a perfect progression in my opinion.
The only negatives I can think of for this toy relate directly to overstimulation. Put simply, it can be a bit much. My aforementioned comments approximately baby DJs are accurate; the sound is overwhelming & never-ending. I don’t think it helps teach too much, either, because there is just too much going on to decipher. Even when it hasn’t been touched in some time there are beeps, songs, & sounds coming from it, begging for interaction. Overall, however, I can’t complain because of how impressive the rest of it is.
Absolutely wonderful toy.”
