Ride on toys is a really pleasant game for your kids. During their ages, they have so much energy to do everything at one time. If you plan to buy this ride on toys, you are on the right track!
Before you decide which one to buy, you’d better read on below reviews. Most of them said that this is a recommended toys, while a few of them disagree with it. Hopefully, by reading all their comments on this ride on toys, you will have a better description & consideration before purchasing it. Here we go:
K. Abberley said “I received this for my son who at the time was just 3yrs old. The swift speed was too quick at first yet it did not take him long to start using it. My daughter who is almost 6 loves it as well. We use it on the road & on the grass (hills as well). My son will obtain stuck approximately once a week on it yet usually he is going up a hill & stopped at the bottom. If he does not stop it goes up hills pretty well. Holds the charge for a week with regular use. Very effortless to recharge the battery. Overall I am very pleased with this & would purchase it again. This is satisfactory for ages: 3yrs – 6yrs (I am sure a 7-8yr old would have no trouble with it)
Pros:
-large enough for kids to use it for a few years
-Slow & swift speeds as well as reverse. Simply click the button to back up.
-pretty satisfactory turning radius compared to the power wheels pickup truck we own
-battery life is pretty good, kids obtain a lot of use out of the charge
-lots of fun! goes well on grass (even with hills)
Cons:
-wheels are pretty loud on the road which is typical with plastic wheels yet because of the huge tread these seem really loud. I have to remind my kids to stick close because if they obtain too far ahead the wheels are so loud they cannot hear me yelling. Also, it’s complex to hear cars approaching from behind with the wheel noise. Not an issue on dirt/grass.”
Robert S wrote “I don’t have much to add from the other positive reviews. We bought this in Dec 2010 for our then 3 year old grandson who will be 6 in January. He still rides it every time he comes over, weather permitting.
It IS an outdoor toy, yet I think its pretty darn tough. We keep it outside all the time next to the deck just covered with a black plastic tarp.
I have only noticed wheel slipping when the grass was wet, never seemed to be a problem otherwise, & we have some gentle slopes he gets around just fine.
The battery holds up very well, we basically let him run it out before recharging, & its usually satisfactory for at least a couple of visits.. (he’s a 5 year old, he plays on it for 10-15 minutes & then he’s off to something else!).
Overall, we are unquestionably pleased with the purchase, when he was smaller, we left off the “high speed” option, yet after a year or so we turned that & he found new interest. He likes to ride his sister (she just turned 3) around on it, so its received some guts. I think for $200 & free shipping, its complex to go wrong.”
Tangie wrote “My son loves this, he wants to ride it indoors & out. I love he is two now & will be able to ride it for a few more years. It’s of tremendous size for a pretty satisfactory price. The only thing I don’t like is that I wish it had rubber wheels because I’ll have to push my son at times. Other than that, what a tremendous investment!!!”
Supera710 wrote “I received this when it went on a lightening deal & it was by far the best purchase we made this Christmas! It has two speeds, which makes it easier for my daughter to obtain the hang of it. The battery comes out effortless enough, for charging, & is effortless to obtain back in as well. We haven’t taken it on any long rides, longer than 30 mins, so I don’t know how the battery life is. The only downside is the tires have no traction, since they’re the plastic. I’m sure my daughter doesn’t care approximately that tho!”
Rachel wrote “I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old. He loves it! It’s huge enough that I think he will be able to ride it for quite a few years. I was shocked at how swift he received the hang of it. It goes at a satisfactory speed too. The only problem I have is the tires are all plastic so they just spin in mud/snow. Not sure why they named it monster traction…but I was told there is a website where you can buy rubber bands that go around the tire to donate them better traction (traction bands.com). I think I’m going to purchase them to see if it helps. My son hasn’t been able to ride it much due to weather, yet so far so good. Anxious to see how it goes in grass, up hills. Overall for the money, it was a satisfactory purchase.”
H. Fields wrote “I was looking for a powered ride toy for my grandson & while reviewing the many choices I began to zero in on this one. I was deciding if I should buy online or locally since that was an option when Amazon put it on sale for 10 minutes for 60% off! I paid 145.00 delivered! wow, it was an effortless assembly & runs tremendous on anything yet a smooth complex surface. Don’t expect to use it on complex smooth floors yet in the years it is a beast. It is just the right speed on the low setting & my grandson loves it!”
