BUT, once you do that it is awesome! The air in the balloon last a long time, & you have the ability to put in counter weights so it will operate properly. Hours of pleasant for the whole family.”

I had to use my own tape fairly shortly afterward. Kids enjoyed it yet it is very fragile. Worth the money yet do not think it will last too long with most kids.”

Once you obtain past the difficult assembly of this toy & moreover the need to purchase a helium tank (with a nat’l helium shortage many party stores are unwilling to fill it) you have to deal with one issue after another. We received it up & running & my son was so excited until the tail snapped during normal play & it no longer worked…after 10 mins! I contacted the company & waited a week for replacement parts…the wrong ones! Emailed again & waited another week & finally received the parts. We were finally ready to actually play with this toy…or so we thought…topping the helium off was no longer sufficient to make it positively buoyant. The whole shark had to be deflated (slowly & carefully!) with a drinking straw & refilled. Hence, the need for ANOTHER helium tank (this shark is big!) & another $22. Finally received the second tank yesterday & filled the shark…we were FINALLY going to obtain to play with this thing & now the remote just stopped working (and, yes, I did alter all the batteries)!!!!! ARGH!!! One difficult assembly, two sets of replacement parts, two helium tanks, a broken remote, & two months of my time…not to mention the actual cost of the shark, batteries, & the two tanks!! As my husband said, Santa really screwed up with this one!”
