Renee M wrote “While I find the voices of the Fisher Price toys annoying, my daughter loves them. My daughter is 10 months, & we have had this now for approximately 2 months. While it says 1 year & up, it depends on your baby. I think it is perfect for those just starting to walk. At 8 months, she would hold on & walk around the house. Then she started letting go. I really think it helps them to walk because there is so much to do on both sides that they want to obtain to it & end up letting go because of that.
I have several items from the Laugh & Learn line (I have this, the barn door, & both kitchens – the one they can crawl through the center & the sit down one). While these items are a little pricier than some other toys she has right now, I feel like she will at least obtain more time out of these then she did other things that cost this much. Spent a fortune on things like a jumparoo, an exesaucer, craddle swing, etc. She was over the swing at 4.5 months (she would try to sit up in the swing & then it would be off balance & I would obtain worried), the jumparoo & exesaucer were tremendous until she started to walk really satisfactory (around 9 months — since she didn’t start going in them until close to 4 months, really we only received 5 months of use out of them). Since all these items were more expensive than this play house, I feel like it isn’t over priced.
Love that you can buy a replacement accessory kit as well since I know she will end up loosing some of the shapes, etc.”
Tasha B wrote “This toy is VERY captivating for young kids (6 months -3 years just like the box says!). Though my daughter is only 3 weeks away from being one years old, I have had other children (ages 2 1/2 & 3 1/2) over to play & they play with the toy just as much! It can be considered “over-stimulating”, yet if you are looking for a toy to entertain long periods of time day after day, this is it!! Sometimes I try to encourage my little one to play with her other toys yet she will crawl over & stand up where the house is to tell me she wants the house. My ONLY complaint is that the toy slides on wood floors & I’m currently trying to figure out a way to solve this problem…..Other than that the toy is build strong & just like the reviews that had me purchasing this toy to commence with, I can unquestionably tell this toy will be obtain GREAT use for the next few years to come (I’m expecting any day now with a little boy =) ).”

I purchased this used when my son was 11 mo old. He is now 16 mo & it’s still his favorite toy, even with all the new toys he received for Christmas since. (kitchens, cars, trucks, FP ramp…)
I was hesitant to buy since I knew he would be walking in the near future, yet he is now walking & still loves his house even more! I only wish of I would have purchased this house even sooner when he was learning to crawl because I know he would have loved it just as much earlier on.
What he loves approximately it?
Crawling in & out the door & playing knock knock with Mommy & Daddy.
Playing the pleasant music on the radio. (he now dances & claps his hands to the music)
Playing itsy bitsy spider where the balls go down on the side. (he just started doing the hand signs to it this week. so cute!)
Opening & closing the mailbox & window & turning the light on & off, turning the moon & sun & clock at the top are moreover tremendous fun.
What I love approximately it? It’s sturdy & durable. The music teaches abc’s & 1,2,3′s in a pleasant way. It’s pleasant watching the pleasure my baby gets from his house. Will moreover teach him time & numbers as he gets bigger.
I wouldn’t hesitate in purchasing this! I have a small house yet it’s worth the little bit of space it takes up. I highly recommend it to anyone!”
Gayle G wrote “This is the best gift I could donate my grandson. He is 10 months & loves this home. He opens & closes the mailbox so many times. He cannot stand for the block triangles, squares, circles to be in their places. As shortly as he sees them he pulls them out. It is a cute toy that can entertain children for quite a while.”
Jen wrote “After seeing how much my 18 month old son loved this toy in the church nursery & in the homes of friends, I kept my eye out for one at a satisfactory deal. It’s absolutely possible to obtain a satisfactory price on this used. I scored one for $20 in almost brand new condition at a local thrift store.
My son loves opening & closing the door. Thankfully, he now prefers this toy to my kitchen cabinets. He loves the songs, the lantern that lights up & the spinning sun/moon. Most grandparents I know of in my area are unwilling to donate up their Fisher Price Learning Home because of how much their grandchildren love it. I love it because it keeps my toddler occupied so I can wash dishes, cook or do other errands around in the home.
Good luck to bargain hunting parents/grandparents out there!”
Steven wrote “Absolutely the best toy for twins to play & learn. They love opening the door to crawl through or using the window to see each other. They each play on different sides & never seem to tire of all the features. The best thing is that it never topples over!! I can see them play with this for a long time.”
Mrs H wrote “We bought this used when my son was 9 months old. At first, he played with it everyday. He’s now 2.5 & still plays with it at least a few times each month. I keep thinking it won’t interest him anymore, so I put it in the corner of a walk-in closet. I think that has only made it more pleasant for him. He will crawl behind the door to hide & play at the same time. I can’t think of another toy we own that has entertained him that long. I think that says a lot approximately a toy.”
