It is tremendous that it comes in a storage bin, so everything can stay contained (hopefully) after he’s finished playing. Another reviewer mentioned this, yet the names of the dinosaurs are printed on the bottom of each one, so he can learn what they are. I highly recommend this gift for any young child interested in dinosaurs.”

Ashley wrote “First, my son really likes playing with this toy & takes the dinosaurs everywhere. But… We had wanted to buy him large dinosaurs that were a foot across or something like that. He loves going to the sandbox at the park where they have the “big” dinosaurs & we wanted some for him at home. We looked & looked & compromised on these dinosaurs which are much smaller, yet were substantially cheaper. I was a little disappointed when the dinosaurs came, yet my son wasn’t. The mat is not as huge as it looks in the picture, & others are right that you should probably just throw it away. My son doesn’t use it, as the dinosaurs tend to be set up all over the house. Also, the dinosaurs are not scaled appropriately & so as others have mentioned there are some that we just call the baby dinosaurs. So while I like this toy, I think it may be rad just because it is a dinosaur toy, not because it is made well. The best thing approximately it is that some dinosaurs mouths are open really wide & so these dinosaurs “bite” or “eat” lots of things around the house.”

The variety is tremendous for this age – different species in different sizes. The “rocks” are not necessary & will probably gradually disappear, yet the volcanoes are awesome! The fact that the “map” is simple plastic does not matter at all. The fact that the box picture matches the map & the dynos is very significant to little Bea. Tub is compact, holds everything with no room to spare, & has a carry handle that actually works for little ones. Wish there was a matching Savanna & Outback…”
