Product Description

It may not feature any loop-de-loops or terrifying hairpin turns, but preschoolers will likely find this 10-foot-long roller coaster every bit as thrilling as grownups find the amusement park version. Molded in brightly colored plastic, it's built for years of wear in either the backyard or the playroom. The set's components fit together to form a downhill ride with another smaller hill about halfway through. What we loved most about this set is the fact that the individual parts are just as much fun as the fully assembled kit. The car, bright yellow with a sturdy handle, could just as easily be used around the house if the child is too young for the coaster. And the ramp system is plenty of fun to roll cars, balls, or anything else. Perhaps our tiny toy tester said it best: "Wheee!" --John Moe

Baby Games for Kids what do you need to know about?

Why would “Play” be crucial for babies/kids?

Babies/kids have “connections” in their young brains that learn through stimulation. It is as a million light switches that turn on one at a time. If they have never seen color in their life and suddenly are exposed to color, that is a light switch turning on. The same goes for music, touch, taste and so on.

Play works the same way, the light switch turns on that this is fun and makes them smile. It also gets other senses moving like touch as they can quickly learn the differences of soft, hard, mushy, wet, rocky, smooth, hot or cold.

Baby Games For Kids

Baby Games For Kids

With Baby Games For Kids you are turning on a whole bunch of light switches that will never be turned off again. The sooner these switches turn on the quicker and more information the child receives, learns and grows.

A child that grows with no stimulation will have a hard time adjusting to new things, feelings, people and so on. Babies/kids minds are often like huge sponges and soak in all the good and sadly the bad that they see, hear and feel. Parents and caregivers are the water to that sponge and it is up to them to make sure that sponge is always getting wet with baby games, stimulations and play.

Through play, they exercise their skills of curiosity, creativity, wonder, problem solving, independence and more! There are many resources for parents and caregivers to find the best and most effective stimulating, interesting and creative games there are. Internet searches, books, TV ads, advice from friends & family or parenting fun groups are some ways to obtain the information. There are often also organizations that come in un-intrusively and help parents who are willing to interact, teach and play with their little one through suggestions, print outs, free books and ideas. A simple search of your county under parenting services may help you find one of these great programs.

Depending on the age of the child and the stage of development would determine where you would start and with what type of Baby Games for Kids you would use. There are social games, hand and touch games, decision-making games, music and sound games, the list just goes on and on.

When searching the internet you can find age appropriate games that are labeled for you to follow, but if your child is at a different level, you may want to switch it up a bit.

Stages & ages

ŸBirth to 3 months: touch, sight, sound, smell, and possibly grab for objects.: dancing with baby (or swaying), show objects and let baby feel them or colorful fabrics or blocks.

Ÿ4 to 6 months: Let baby smell things, watch and touch bubbles, peek-a-boo, mock baby and touch finger and toes and let baby touch yours.

Ÿ7 to 9 months: Give baby praise for milestone like sitting or crawling, picking up objects and tossing or handing them over, looking at shiny or bright objects, fun surprises like noise toys or light toys.

Ÿ10-12 months: stacking games, what is hidden inside games, imitate games, bath games are some things baby and you can do to play.

Each stage is a new window and a new light switch to turn on, make the most of them because they are gone quickly and can never be repeated.

The Internet also has free resources for Internet games that can help stimulate baby or child. Everything from match the colors and sounds, to find the hidden toy, are offered free of charge. Your baby may not be big enough to choose the game or actually play the game on the Internet but they can watch, see and hear the action. As they grow, there are more and more games available that are safe and stimulating. Babies/kid can play from birth on and you can supply them with a whole world of learning fun!

Hand on (board games, blocks, balls etc.) baby games are also out there to purchase. Ring stack, touch and feel boards, whack it game are some of the games available. As they grow, you can move onto chutes and ladders, candy land, I spy or connect games. Games are available for learning, stimulation and fun from birth to FOREVER!

There are no age limits on who can play games; there are games for every person, every age and every interest out on the market.  Older kid’s games like “Pictionary” monopoly, battleship, operation, life, risk, trouble -all bring learning experiences to the child interacting with the games. Young children if exposed to games will continue to play games whether it is at parties, youth groups or family times for many, maybe forever!

Baby games for kids can also target areas that the teacher, parent or caregiver is trying to teach the child, such as a child that is having trouble counting. Two may be hard for a young baby to comprehend but when shown “two” in the way of pairs, two shoes, two books, two pieces of pizza they can learn the difference between one and two.

Shapes can come in things like a banana and an orange. You can make up a game of four objects; three are shaped the same one is not let them try to find the one that is not the same. This teaches shapes and decision-making together in a simple lesson. Baby Games for Kids do not have to be expensive or involved they can be simple, easy and free it just takes a little initiative and imagination or a quick Internet search, which is a good tool for teachers, parents and caregivers alike.
